Jatiya Party central office set on fire, vandalized

The central office of Jatiya Party at Bijoynagar in the capital was vandalised and set on fire on Thursday.
Several hundred of people under the banner of ‘Anti-Fascism Students, Workers and People’ carried out the attack. They vandalised and set the office on fire.
Being informed, a team of fire servicemen rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. Additional policemen and RAB members have been deployed in the area.
The protesters brought out a torch procession from the footstep of Raju Sculpture at Dhaka University and headed towards Bijoynagar through Shahbagh.
