Publish Jamaat’s mistakes: Shafiqur urges media

Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has called upon the media workers to present objective news. If Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami makes any mistake, it should be highlighted; and the interest of people should also be highlighted.

He said this at an event organised for the oath-taking ceremony of Md Nurul Islam Bulbul, the newly-elected ameer of the Dhaka Metropolitan South unit of Jamaat, at the auditorium of Institute of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh at Kakrail in the city on Friday.

He reiterated his conviction to the cause, saying that Jamaat would be the first to act on matters of unity.
Although the Awami League government was toppled by a mass movement, the ‘zulum’ – or injustice – has yet to come to an end. As such, he urged everyone to be united in the national interest at this time.
