300 dengue deaths recorded in 10 months

Besides, in a 24-hour span, 382 more patients were hospitalised across the country with the viral fever, taking the number of victims to 62,199.

With this year's death toll from dengue infection reached 300 till November 1 in last 10 months.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said this on Saturday.  

In 2023, a total of 3,21,179 more patients were hospitalised with the viral fever and 1,709 died.
