IGP travels to UK to attend Interpol conference

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Moynul Islam left Dhaka for United Kingdom on Saturday (November 2) to attend the 92th Interpol General Assembly.
The IGP will lead the 2-member Bangladesh delegation at the conference.
The other member of the delegation is – Additional Inspector General (AIG) of Police Headquarters Ali Haydar Chowdhury.
The 92nd session of the INTERPOL General Assembly will take place from 4 to 7 November 2024 in Glasgow, United Kingdom. Representatives of 196 member countries of INTERPOL will participate in it.
The International Criminal Police Organisation, commonly known as Interpol, is an international organisation that facilitates worldwide police cooperation and crime control. Bangladesh achieved the membership of the platform on October 14, 1976.
