Govt to adjust gas price today

The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has increased seven times in 10 months of this year. It will be known today whether the price of gas will increase again.

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) is scheduled to announce a new price of LPG around 3:30pm.

According to the Saudi CP announced by Saudi Aramco for the month of November (2024), the instructions from the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission regarding the price adjustment of private LPG at the consumer level will be announced on Tuesday, BERC said.

Gas prices increased in the first three months of this year. After that, the price of gas decreased in April, May and June months. Since then, gas prices have been increased again for four consecutive months.
