Ex-minister Asaduzzaman Khan’s pistol recovered

Police have recovered a licensed pistol of former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan from Mirpur in Dhaka.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Deputy Commissioner Talebur Rahman confirmed the news this noon.

A team from Tejgaon police station recovered the licensed pistol, left abandoned, on Wednesday, Talebur said.

Since the fall of Sheikh Hasina-led government on August 5, Asaduzzaman Khan has remained fugitive. So far, 188 cases have been filed against him.
