Man killed in road accident in Dhaka`s Demra

An old man, around 65-years-old, was killed after a battery run-auto rickshaw hit him at Konapara staff area in Dhaka's Demra early Friday (November 8).

The deceased was known as Yusuf Hawlader.

The accident took place around 1:00 am. Later, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead around 1:30 am.

Nipa, daughter of the victim said that a speedy auto-rickshaw hit her father, leaving him critically injured.

Confirming the matter, DMCH police camp in-charge (Inspector) Md Faruk said the body was kept at the hospital morgue.
