New commerce adviser pledges to ease lives of citizens
The newly appointed commerce adviser Sk Bashir Uddin has pledged to work towards improving the overall quality of life for the people of Bangladesh.
The adviser made the opinion while addressing a view exchange meeting with the officials at the ministry on Monday (November 11).
He said that due to the impact of inflammation, people’s purchasing power had not increased. If we look at the life of a worker, compromises have emerged in their standard of living.
Addressing the officials, he also said he did not expect any “magic” from them. We will work collaboratively. You will have me as a partner. I will make every effort to support your work effectively and justly within my capacity.
Meanwhile, Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce Mohammad Selim Uddin, Additional Secretary (Administration) Kazi Mozammel Haque, Additional Secretary (Export) Mohammad Naveed Shafiullah, Director General of Trade Organization Division, and others attended the function.
