‘Efforts made to form govt with those who were with us in fight’

Interim Government Adviser Mahfuz Alam has said, “We have tried to form a government with those who were with us and on our side during the long fight.” 

The adviser said this in response to questions from journalists at a discussion titled ‘Mawlana Bhasani and New Bangladesh’ in Tangail on the occasion of his 48th death anniversary on Wednesday (November 13) afternoon.

“There were many realities, most of them we have been able to fulfill," said Mahfuz Alam.

Businessman Sheikh Bashir Uddin, cultural personality filmmaker Mostofa Sarowar Farooki and special assistant to the chief adviser Mahfuz Alam took oath on Tuesday.
