Land ministry orders to transfer staff who in same position over 3 yrs

The ministry of land has ordered to transfer employees of the Land Revenue Administration and Land Records and Survey Department at the union, upazila, district and divisional levels who were at the same workplace for more three years.

The ministry issued a notification on Thursday, saying that field level employees will not continue at the same workplace or position or department over three years.

According to the notification, it is essential to ensure uninterrupted, people-friendly and harassment-free land services for all citizens.

The circular further stated all must follow four guidelines when transferring from their workplace to another.

The guidelines include providing opportunities for all employees in phases. If an employee was transferred to another place or inter-district before stipulated time due to physical illness or decline of moral integrity or specific or logical reason, then Deputy Commissioner and as case basis, Divisional Commissioner should submit a report behind the reason as soon as possible.
