ICT asks to submit probe report against Hasina within 1 month

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has ordered the authority concerned to submit investigation report against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and 45 others in a case filed for crimes against humanity on charge of genocide during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.

The three-member tribunal led by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Majumder passed the order on Monday (November 18).

Confirming the matter, the tribunal chief prosecutor Mohammad Tazul Islam said that officials sought two months to investigate the case. Meanwhile, the court granted them one month.
