13 accused of `genocide` sent to jail

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has sent the Awami League government's nine former ministers, two advisers, a retired Appellate Division justice, and a former home secretary to jail in a genocide case.
The three-member International Crimes Tribunal, chaired by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Majumder passed the order on Monday (November 18).
The tribunal chief prosecutor Mohammad Tazul Islam confirmed the matter.
The other two members of the tribunal are Justice Md Shafiul Alam Mahmud and Judge Md Mohitul Haque Enam Choudhury.
Earlier, the tribunal also directed to produce the accused by November 18.
