Security tightened further around Titumir College

Additional police forces were deployed in Titumir College campus area in Mohakhali in the capital on Tuesday (November 19).

The tight security measures were taken in front of the college gate centering the demand of the students' previously announced program.

At the same time, more than a hundred members of the army have taken positions on the road from Raowa Club to the Mohakhali Rail Gate.

The students of the institution on Monday night announced to block road and railway at Mohakhali from 11AM to 4PM on Tuesday. They also announced to suspend all academic activities of the college.

Earlier on Monday (November 18), hundreds of students from Titumir college took position at the Mohakhali rail line area and hurled brick chips aiming trains.
