Additional police deployed near Titumir College 

Additional police forces have been deployed in Titumir College campus area in the capital’s Mohakhali.

A 14-member delegation from Titumir also left for the ministry of education for a meeting at around 3 pm on Tuesday. 

Two platoons of armed police battalion have taken position in front of the Titumir College.

The students of the institution on Monday night announced to block road and railway at Mohakhali from 11AM to 4PM on Tuesday.

They also forced the authorities to suspend all academic activities of the college at night as their demand to transform their college into university is not met.
