High Court halts recruitment of 6,531 primary school teachers

The High Court has halted the decision to issue appointment letters to 6,531 candidates in the third phase of government primary school assistant teacher examination.
A High Court bench comprising Justice Fatema Najib and Justice Mahmudur Razi gave the order on Tuesday (November 19).
There was a schedule to issue appointment letters from November (20) Wednesday.
The final results of the third phase of the government primary school assistant teacher recruitment exam (Dhaka and Chattogram divisions) were published on October 31.
A total of 6,531 candidates passed it. The results were published on the website of the Directorate of Primary Education.
The Primary and Mass Education Ministry issued a press release in this regard.
The High Court has given the decision due to quota reason.
