Dr Yunus appoints Khalilur Rahman as high representative

Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus has appointed Khalilur Rahman as the high representative on the "Rohingya crisis and matters of priority."
The cabinet division issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday (November 19).
According to the notice, as the high representative on the "Rohingya crisis and matters of priority", Khalilur Rahman will receive the rank, salary, allowances and other ancillary benefits associated with the position of adviser.
Khalilur Rahman joined the foreign service of Bangladesh in 1979 upon securing the first position in the first regular Bangladesh Civil Service examinations held in 1977, said the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing.
