Dhaka College, City College students clash

Students of Dhaka College and City College locked into clashes in phases on Wednesday noon, halting traffic movement in the area.

The clashes started in the capital’s Science Lab area at around 2: 30pm on Wednesday.

Chase-counter chases were being taken place between the groups when the report was filed at around 4:30pm.

It is learnt that Dhaka College students vandalised a bus in the Science Lab area. After this, City College students reacted and clashed with them. 

This incident created huge tension between the students of the two colleges. 

After receiving the information, army and police members rushed to the spot and are trying to bring the situation under control. 

However, no official statement was received from Dhaka College and City College authorities regarding this.
