Nine die of dengue in a day 

Nine dengue patients died while 1,214 were admitted to different hospitals in the country during the past 24 hours ending Thursday.

A press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said this on Thursday.
With this, the total number of cases rose to 434 deaths.

During the latest 24-hour period, three deaths were reported in the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) region, five in the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) region and one in Rajshahi Division (outside of the city corporation areas).

One thousand two hundred and fourteen more patients were hospitalised with the viral fever across the country over the period. Of them, 195 dengue patients were admitted in hospitals located under DNCC while 141 others were hospitalised in DSCC areas.
