Govt to recruit 18,149 officers through 5 BCS exams

The government will recruit 18,149 civil servants through five Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations.

Of them, 12,710 will be recruited in cadre posts and 5,439 in non-cadre posts.

Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration Mokhlesur Rahman revealed the information at a press conference at the secretariat on Sunday (November 24).

He said 2,064 cadre officers will be recruited through the 43rd BCS examinations, 1,710 cadre officers through the 44th BCS examinations, 2,309 cadre officers through the 45th BCS examinations, 3,140 cadre officers through the 46th BCS examinations, and 3,487 cadre officers through the 47th BCS examinations.

The secretary also said additionally, 642 individuals from the 43rd BCS; 1,791 from the 44th BCS; 1,570 from the 45th BCS; 1,111 from the 46th BCS; and 325 from the 47th BCS will be recruited for non-cadre posts.
