Journalist Molla Jalal secures bail

A court in Dhaka has granted bail to former president of the Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) Molla Jalal in a case filed under the Woman and Child Repression Prevention Act.

Dhaka 13th Additional Metropolitan District and Sessions judge M Morshed Alam passed the order on Sunday (November 24).

Earlier, he was sent to jail in the case filed on charges of abducting and attempt to rape a 50-year-old singer with Shahbagh Police Station in the capital.
