Tarique’s education allowances to children of enforced disappearance victims

Deshmata Foundation will regularly provide 'monthly education allowances' to children of 30 enforced disappearance victims under the initiative of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
A delegation of BNP on Saturday met some families of enforced disappearance victims and enquired about them, including children of the victims, at Zia Udyan at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital.
Tarique Rahman’s human rights adviser and ‘Deshmata Foundation’ chief coordinator Barrister Abu Sayem and 'Amra BNP Paribar' member secretary Agriculturist Moksedul Momin Mithun conveyed message of sympathy to the families on behalf of Tarique Rahman, said BNP media cell.
The BNP delegation and family members of the victims joined a Fateha recitation programme at the grave of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, Bir Uttam on the occasion.
Later, BNP delegation along with the family members went to a restaurant and took lunch together.
Barrister Abu Sayem handed over various gifts to the children who lost their relatives.
