Attack on Bangladesh Assistant High Commission, Hasnat calls demo

Hasnat Abdullah, convener of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, has called demonstration in protest against the attack on the Assistant High Commission in Agartala, the capital of Tripura state.

The demonstration will be held on Dhaka University's Raju Sculpture premises at 9 pm on Monday (December 2). 

He made the announcement in a post on his Facebook page posted at around 6 pm.

A group of extremists allegedly attacked the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala following a rally held protesting against the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, a former leader of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).
