Bangladesh wins 2 bronze medals in Int’l Robot Olympiad

Bangladesh won two bronze awards at the World Robot Olympiad 2024, one of the world's most prestigious robotics competitions.

The two winning teams are – 'Cyber Squad' led by Afia Humaira, a student of Birshreshtha Munshi Abdur Rouf Public College, and 'Change Makers' led by Sadia Anjum Pushpa, a student of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.

Earlier, the 21st edition of the World Robot Olympiad began in Izmir, Turkey, on November 28. A total of 560 robot team joined the three-day long contest from 87 countries.

This year, a total of 12 contestants from Bangladesh participated in the Future Engineers, Future Innovators, and Robo Sports segments.
