`Delhi wants to work with interim govt maintaining friendly relations`

Indian High Commissioner Pranay Verma
Indian High Commissioner Pranay Verma has said that Delhi wants to work with the interim government of Bangladesh maintaining friendly relations.
Pranay Verma said this while talking to newsmen at around 4:45pm on Tuesday at the foreign ministry.
The Indian high commissioner said, “There is no reason that the relations between the two countries will be stuck over one incident. The relations between Bangladesh and India are multidimensional. We are interested in increasing the connectivity between the people of both countries”.
The Indian high commissioner was summoned by acting Foreign Secretary Reaz Hamidullah on the issue occurred at the Bangladesh assistant high commission in Agartala on Monday.
Pranay Verma entered the ministry at around 4:00pm to hold a meeting with acting Foreign Secretary Reaz Hamidullah.
