Bangladesh-India secretary-level talks next week 

The Foreign Secretary-level Foreign Office Consultation (FOC) talks between Bangladesh and India will take place in Dhaka next week. Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri will come in Dhaka to join it.

Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hosain said this while talking to newsmen at the Foreign Ministry on Wednesday afternoon.

“Foreign Office Consultation (FOC) talks will be held on December 10.  It may be held a day before. It's very clear, we want good relations. However, it has to be sought from both sides. We have to work towards that goal”.

The discussions are expected to cover a range of bilateral issues, including the potential extradition of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, currently in India, and visa-related matters.
