Press Secretary’s call to do journalism without fear

Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam has called to start practicing journalism without fear and stay with the true.

“We are telling all of you, if you can, write about Professor Dr. Yunus. Write about us, what we are doing”.

He was speaking at a prize giving ceremony and a discussion on the investigative journalism in Bangladesh organised by the Transparency International Bangladesh at Bangabandhu International Convention Centre in the capital on December 5.

He also said the interim government is working to ensure that the media can work independently. 

TIB Executive Director Iftekharuzzaman moderated the event where chief of Media Reform Commission Kamal Ahmed, New Age Editor Nurul Kabir and others spoke as well.
