India’s foreign secretary arrives in Dhaka

Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri has arrived in Dhaka to join the Foreign Office Consultation (FOC) meeting.
He landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday morning (December 9).
This is the first high-level meeting between India and Bangladesh following the recent political changes here.
Although the Foreign Office Consultation (FOC) meeting is a regular and normal diplomatic activity, this meeting has generated additional interest for various reasons.
Indian Foreign Secretary is scheduled to meet Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna before departing Dhaka later tonight.
