Senior secy Abdul Momen likely to become ACC chairman

Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Public Security Division Dr Mohammad Abdul Momen, who resigned from his position citing personal reasons on December 8 last, is likely to be appointed as the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

Abdul Momen submitted his resignation letter to the Ministry of Public Administration on December 8, according to a source at the ministry.

On December 9, the letter was forwarded to the Chief Adviser and subsequently accepted, the source said.
