Bangladesh, Timor-Leste sign 2 instruments on visa exemption

Timor-Leste President Jose Ramos-Horta has praised Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor to the interim government of Bangladesh.

He said, "Dr. Yunus is probably the only leader in the world who has such qualifications."

Ramos said this while addressing a joint press conference at the office of the chief adviser on Sunday noon (December 15).

He said, "Dr. Muhammad Yunus has over a hundred degrees, which is amazing. He is probably the only leader in the world who is so respected and has such strong academic credentials."

Meanwhile, he also said that we are keen to further enhance economic and trade relations with Bangladesh in the coming days.

It was known that Bangladesh and Timor-Leste signed two instruments on visa exemption and the establishment of bilateral consultation mechanism.
