Students Against Discrimination rejects President’s invitation 

Students Against Discrimination has rejected the invitation of President Mohammed Shahabuddin to celebrate the Victory Day.

This was announced in a release sent by Zahid Ahsan, cell secretary (office cell) of Students Against Discrimination.

According to the release, as per the decision of the executive committee, no leader or activist associated with the organization will attend the Great Victory Day celebration at Bangabhaban.

Every year on the occasion of Victory Day, dignitaries pay a courtesy call on the President. This year, many leaders of the Students Against Discrimination were invited.

On the occasion of the great Victory Day, the Chief Adviser, Chief Justice, advisers of various ministries, foreign diplomats,  high-ranking government officials, leaders of various organizations, titled freedom fighters and other dignitaries are scheduled to pay a courtesy call on the President at this event at Bangabhaban.
