Mirza Fakhrul returns home from hospital 

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has returned home from Savar Combined Military Hospital (CMH).

He returned home at around 2:00pm on Monday.

The BNP secretary general fell ill after paying tributes at the National Memorial in Savar on the occasion of the Great Victory Day. 

The incident took place in front of the altar of the memorial at 10:22 am. 

According to eyewitnesses, after offering his respects, Mirza Fakhrul was speaking with journalists.

However, he suddenly fell ill and collapsed to the ground. 

Party members and supporters immediately rushed to take him to a nearby hospital.
