Clear election roadmap given: Press Secretary 

Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam has said, “A very clear roadmap has been given for the general election. Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus has highlighted that the next national election can be arranged at a time between the end of 2025 and first half of 2026. The Election Commission will give the specific date”.

The press secretary said this at a regular press briefing held at Foreign Service Academy on Tuesday evening.

Shafiqul Alam said, “There is widespread bribery in transfers and promotions in schools and colleges in various departments of the ministry of education. Corruption in the education sector will be stopped. At the same time, the interim government wants to bring qualitative changes in the entire education sector."

Asked about education commission, the press secretary said, “We cannot talk about the commission. However, the government has already taken some urgent steps. Textbooks for class nine and class ten will be revised and modernized.”
