94 more Bangladeshis return from Lebanon

Another 94 Bangladeshi migrants, who were stranded in war-torn Lebanon, returned home today (December 18) amid ongoing Israeli invasion of the country.

Officials from the government and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) welcomed the returnees at the airport. They returned on an EK-584 flight yesterday night.

All the returnees received Tk5,000 in cash, some food items and initial treatment.

At least 1,142 Bangladeshis have returned from Lebanon till now, according to the foreign ministry.

One Bangladeshi citizen was killed in a bomb attack, the ministry said.
