Gold price increases again, effective from Thursday

Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS) has increased the gold price by Tk2,088 per bhori.

The standing committee on pricing and price monitoring of the association took the decision at a meeting on Wednesday.

According to a press release signed by Masudur Rahman, chairman of the committee, the new price will be effective from Thursday (December 18).

The price of 22-carat gold will now be Tk 1,40,586 per bhori, 21-carat Tk 1,34,194 and 18-carat Tk 1,15,030.
