Rupali Bank hostage: 3 robbers surrender 

It has been reported that three robbers, who entered Jinjira branch of Rupali Bank Limited in Keraniganj and took its staff and clients hostage, have surrendered to the joint forces.

It is reported that law enforcement agencies took them away after they had surrendered. Video footage from the scene shows law enforcement vehicles are leaving the spot.

The robbers surrendered to the joint forces led by army at around 5:30pm, sources said.

Earlier, Keraniganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mazharul Islam said, “two or three robbers are inside the bank."
 
A group of robbers entered the branch of Rupali Bank at noon and took bank staff and clients hostage.

Being informed, RAB and police members rushed to the scene and took position outside the branch. Locals also gathered outside the branch.
