Bank robbery attempt: Two robbers are juveniles, other 22 yrs old

Three robbers entered the Jinjira branch of Rupali Bank Limited in Keraniganj on Thursday noon and took its staff and clients hostage about three and half hours.
The terrible hostage incident ended at around 5:30pm.
According to RAB, 3 robbers surrendered to the joint forces led by army at around 5:30pm. All staff and clients who were hostages have been released.
On Thursday (December 19) night, Dhaka District Police Super Ahmed Mueed told Risingbd, "The three robbers are being interrogated in custody. Two of them are minors. The other one is 22 years old.”
In this regard, RAB-10 Senior Assistant Police Superintendent Tapas Karmakar told the media, “Three robbers entered the Rupali Bank branch and demanded Tk 15 lakh. They had three firearms. However, they surrendered to the joint forces. They have been taken to Keraniganj Police Station”.
The police officer said, "There were 16 hostages inside. Four of them were bank officials and 12 clients.”
The robbers entered the branch of Rupali Bank at noon and took bank staff and clients hostage.
Being informed, RAB and police members rushed to the scene and took position outside the branch. Locals also gathered outside the branch.
