Ex-NBR chairman Nojibur sent to jail

A Dhaka court sent ex-chairman of the National Board of Revenue Md Nojibur Rahman to jail upon completion of their remand period in the murder case of BNP activist Mokbul.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Saifuzzaman passed the order on Wednesday (December 25).

Earlier, investigation officer of the case produced him before the court after completing three-day remand.

Paltan model police station’s court general registrar wing Sub-Inspector Rokonuzzaman Rakib confirmed the matter.

Nojibur Rahman was arrested by the Detective Branch of the police on October 6 from the Gulshan area of the capital.
