A firefighter who was injured after being run over by a truck while trying to douse the fire at the Secretariat, passed away.
The deceased was known as Md Sohanur Jaman Nayon, 24, son of Akhtaruzzaman.
He succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital early Thursday.
Fire Service Director General (DG) Zahed Kamal confirmed the matter around 6:45am.
