Saad followers asked to refrain from activities in Kakrail 

There is a conflict between the two factions of Tabligh Jamaat’s Maulana Zubair and Maulana Saad. Their followers clashed several times.

In this situation, the home ministry issued an order on Thursday that the followers of Maulana Saad of Delhi to refrain from all kinds of Tablighi Jamaat activities, including spending the night at the Kakrail Mosque in Dhaka from Friday. 

At the same time, the followers of Maulana Zubair Ahmed in Bangladesh have been asked to refrain from large gatherings around the Kakrail Mosque only on Friday, December 27.

Saad followers have been gathering at the Jamaat Markaz (center) in Dhaka since November 15, announcing a two-week sit-in at the Kakrail Mosque. 

On the other hand, Zubair followers have announced an indefinite sit-in in the Kakrail area since Thursday morning, demanding three points, including a ban on Saad followers. At the same time, they also announced that Saad followers will not be allowed to conduct any activities at the Bishwa Ijtema Ground in Tongi and Kakrail Mosque area.

A tension situation has been prevailing after three people were killed in a clash between the two groups on the night of December 17 over the occupation of the Ijtema ground in Tungi.
