Death toll from Pabna road crash reaches 4 

Four people were killed and four others were injured when a truck rammed them in Rangamatia on Friday morning (December 27). 

The deceased were known as Abdul Jalil, 65, Khokon Hossain, 27, son of Altab Hossain, Dhani Pramanik, 50, son of Nazimuddin, Rasel Hossain, 27, son of Sayeed Hossain. 

The accident took place on Santhiya-Madhpur road around 5:00 am. 

Police said that the victims were taking preparations to go to an onion field riding a three-wheeler.

Meanwhile, a goods-laden truck rammed their vehicle, leaving the three people dead on the spot. 
Abdul Jalil died at Santhiya Upazila Health Complex. 

Santhiya police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Latif said legal steps will be taken in this regard.
