Govt not involved with students’ July proclamation: Press Secretary

Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Md Shafiqul Alam said that the interim government has no involvement with the upcoming proclamation of the July Uprising announced by the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement on December 31.
The press secretary said this while addressing a press briefing in front of Jamuna State Guest House on Sunday (December 29).
He said, "It is a private initiative. We are looking at it as solely a private initiative. The government has nothing to do with it."
"Whoever is supporting it, is supporting a private initiative," he added.
Chief Adviser’s deputy secretary Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad Majumder also spoke in the press briefing.
