Trade fairs to be held across the country in future: CA

Chief Adviser (CA) of the interim government Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus said that trade fairs will be organized across the country in the future.

The Chief Adviser said this while addressing inaugural ceremony of 29th DITF at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center in Purbachal on the outskirts of the capital on Wednesday (January 1).

He said, “This time, furniture products have been declared as the Product of the Year for 2025. I have also called for votes for the Best Entrepreneur of the Year so that everyone can know who the entrepreneurs of these products are.''

Dr Yunus said, "People are meant to be entrepreneurs. It's the job of people to do what they want. Trade fairs give people the opportunity to showcase their initiative and creativity. We need to take advantage of this opportunity."

Like before, the fair will remain open from 10.00 am to 9.00 pm (until 10.00 pm on weekends) throughout the month.
