ICT issues arrest warrants against constable Sujon Hossain

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has issued arrest warrants against police constable Mohammad Sujon Hossain on charge of killing five people in Chankharpur of the capital.
International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) led by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Majumdar passed the order on Wednesday (January 1).
Prosecutor BM Sultan Mahmud stood for the prosecution. However, there was no lawyer for Mohammad Sujan Hossain.
Later, Prosecutor BM Sultan Mahmud told reporters, after hearing the tribunal issued arrest warrant and directed the authority concerned to produce him before the tribunal on January 12.
A video that circulated on social media showed, on 5 August morning, a large crowd of students and civilians gathered at the Chankharpul area, aiming to march towards Shahbagh. Constable Sujon Hossain was seen shooting at them.
