Travel ban on ex-DMP commissioner Faruq, wife

A Dhaka court has issued travel ban on former Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Khandker Golam Faruq and his wife Sharmin Akter Khan.

Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order upon a petition of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Wednesday (January 1).

ACC’s court inspector Amir Hossain confirmed the information.
