Court for freezing bank accounts of ex-MP Mostafiz, wife

A Dhaka court has instructed authorities concerned to freeze four accounts of three separate banks Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury, the former member of parliament from Banshkhali upazila in Chattogram, and his wife Shahin Akter Chowdhury.

Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order upon a petition of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Wednesday (January 1).

ACC’s court inspector Amir Hossain confirmed the information.
