6 more members appointed to PSC

Six more members have been appointed to the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) in order to expedite the recruitment process.

With them, the number of PSC members stood at 14.

The Ministry of Public Administration made their appointments in a notification issued on Thursday (January 2).

The newly appointed PSC members are professor Dr Shahnaj Sarkar, Md Munir Hossain, Brigadier General (Retd) Dr AF Jaglul Ahmed, Dr Md Mijanur Rahman, Sabbir Ahmed Chowdhury, and professor Dr Syeda Shahina Sobhan.

Earlier, the government appointed eight members to the constitutional body in two phases.
