Zubair followers call for protests, confce on January 25

The followers of Shura-e-Nezam or Maulana Zubair of Bangladesh have announced a protest program demanding a ban on Saad followers. 

They have demanded of the government to ban the Saad faction for various terrorist activities, including the murders in 2018 and 2024. 

They have called a nationwide protest program on January 10. Representatives of all levels of ulema will also hold an ulema conference on January 25.

Mufti Nazmul Hasan Qasemi disclosed this at a press conference at the Kakrail Markaz Mosque on Saturday (January 4).

He said, "We strongly demand of the government to punish them who were involved in the terrorist attack and murder at Tongi Maidan late on the night of December 17”.
