We want to restore the voting rights: CEC

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin said that 18 crore people are deprived of voting right. We have taken responsibility - to end their deprivation.

The CEC said this while addressing a program at the election training institute in Agargaon on Sunday (January 5).

He said, “We are steadfast in our commitment. We seek everyone's cooperation.”

We want the support of all to collect information about new voters visiting door to door from January 20. After training the trainers step by step, a quarter of a million people will be brought under this program, he added.
