If the Indian government does not send Sheikh Hasina back, the ‘National Independent Commission of Inquiry’ will go to India to interrogate her if the country allows it, said Maj Gen (retd) ALM Fazlur Rahman, the president of the commission.
He made the announcement at a function held at Retired Armed Forces Officers Welfare Association Club (RAOWA) in the capital on Monday (January 6) afternoon.
Fazlur Rahman said, “If India does not send Sheikh Hasina back to the country, the investigation commission will go to India to interrogate Sheikh Hasina if it gets permission. They will continue the work even if no security or vehicles are provided.”
He said, “The National Independent Commission of Inquiry will remain neutral when it will move to launch an investigation into the BDR carnage, and the investigation will be conducted impartially with the cooperation of everyone.”
