After nearly seven years, Tarique Rahman, BNP’s acting chairman, met her mother at the airport, making the both emotional. Tarique Rahman welcomed her mother by hugging her at the airport. Tarique Rahman’s wife Dr Zubaida Rahman was also present at that time.
Later, Tarique Rahman himself drove a car to ‘The London Clinic’ carrying her mother.

Earlier, the 79-year-old, three-time former prime minister Khaleda Zia, departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 11:46pm on Tuesday, heading for London via Doha on the Qatar Royal Family’s Airbus A319 air ambulance.
The airbus made a stopover in Doha after her nearly eight-hour journey en-route to London.
Upon her arrival at the Doha airport, Bangladesh Ambassador to Qatar Nazrul Islam welcomed the former premier and inquired about her physical condition.
This will be Khaleda Zia’s second overseas medical trip, following her 2017 visit to London for treatment.
On July 15, 2017, the BNP chief went to London and received treatment of her eyes and feet, spent time with her family members and celebrated Eid-ul-Azha with them during her three-month stay there.
